i have a projector and the sound that comes from it is not nearly want i want it to be, so i need some good speakers.
please send me a link from bestbuy or something like that to what speaker you reccomend
i have the projector on a ceiling mount
my cieling in my basement has those panels that you cant attach anything to so the projector mount extents beyond those panels, unfortunately i dont know how i could attach speakers up there, without it muffling the sound and i dont want to take those panels off.
i need some speakers that would be good for movies and gaming but they have to be somewhat cheap, ideally less than a hundred, 150 would be pushing it
(and i know the really good ones cost alot more than that but i cant afford that right now)
thank you

I'd love to be able to project movies and television onto a bare wall I have in my bedroom, but I've got a couple questions:
1) What's the general cost associated with a video projector?
2) Is the picture worth it? i.e. will I notice a difference by using a projector instead of a TV?
3) Can the projector be used to project DVDs as well as cable programming?
4) Is this stuff easy to install? I have a huuuuge vaulted wall, which is why I have a sudden interest in this idea, but installation needs to be simple - i.e. mount the projector on the wall and let it roll
Thanks guys!

I want to hang it as close as possible so i can increase the brightness and fill the whole screen (screen is grey 1.1 gain and 133" diag). I have ambient light that i cannot control and the projector has vertical shifting without keystoning the image.
here are the calculators but i dont fully understand them, please help.

The only thing is that I have ceiling tiles. I've seen some ceiling mounts like:

But hopefully I can find something cheaper. Please help.

Hey all,
I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, which I drive regularly (no off-roading), which I consider a decent car, since its my first. Since I spend more time in my car then I do at home, I was thinking I could mount in a PS3. I was wondering what I would need to accomplish this, what the consequences are, and if I should use a monitor or a projector.
Thanks,
Jake

London, Oct 31 (ANI): Massachusetts Institute of Technology researchers have developed a robot that is sensitive to driver's moods and habits, and can revolutionise the way you interact with your car.
The Affective Intelligent Driving Agent, or AIDA is a dashboard-mounted robotic device with a laser projector, which can create human-like gestures and convey subtle signals.
For instance, a downturned face with pleading eyes indicates AIDA is "worried" because the driver has failed to buckle the safety belt.
The hope is that with AIDA a driver will buckle up to avoid making the car "feel bad".
The device also contains sensors inside and outside the car to pick up clues about the driver's state of mind: grip strength and skin-conductivity sensors in the steering wheel.
It can tell when the driver is tense. AIDA also uses GPS logs of a driver's travels to learn favourite locations and suggest better routes.

I am interested in buying an Optoma HD720X projector but i have a few questions
1. Is it Widescreen?
2. What sort of connections does it have e.g. HDMI, Component AV?
3. Does it have HDMI?
4. Can it display 1080i/p
5. How bright is it?
6. how would i connect it to my PS3 and Laptop (The laptop has DVI and S-video)
7. Can i mount it on my ceiling
8. Does it have a headphone (3.5mm) jack. If it doesnt how would I connect it to my speakers
Any answers to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated
by the way since it doesnt have a 3.5mm jack does anybody know an optical to 3.5mm adaptor so i can connect the speakers directly to my PS3
if there is an adaptor so i could connect the speakers directly to the projector and by the way the HD720X does exist but it is a downgraded version of the HD70
