This fresnel is in a swivel mount so that, with a weight attached to the bottom of the lens frame, the system will use gravity to remain automatically verticall keystoned when pointing the projector up and down.

www.diyflightsims.com . . . NOTE We no longer sell the DIY projector ceiling mount. There are universal projector mounts available that cost about as much as the materials in our DIY project. Shop around.
This video shows how to install the Monoprice Ceiling Bracket for Projector. The mount is only provided with two tubes: an 8cm one and a 17cm one. You have to decide which one better fits your installation. If you need a longer tube, do a search in the site. I forgot to say that the 5mm Allen key is for adjusting a bolt in the projector plate that determines how easy or how hard it is to tilt the projector once installed. This video is my way to say thanks to everybody in the avsforum, and to Dustin from "Dustin's Blog". Without their help, I couldn't have mounted this thing. Sorry for my bad English. Please make your corrections in the comments section. The avsforum thread for making further suggestions or longer comments to this video is: www.avsforum.com The mount is shown here with the infocus IN72 Home Theater Projector.
The installation of a flat screen LCD TV can transform a dull living room into an impressive entertainment area. Previous experience in mounting a TV can certainly help however with a little planning, some TV brackets and the right tools you should be able to complete the task yourself with relative ease.
The first and most obvious step is to make the decision as to where you want to place it. Place it on the wall which will give you the best viewing position, being careful that it wont reflect any natural light coming in from nearby windows.Do make sure that you take into account the dimensions of the room as well as the overall size of your television. Placing the TV above a fireplace is considered a popular option although logistically this can be awkward due to wires running from the TV.
When you have decided on the best place for your TV you should then use a tape measure and spirit level to centre the television on the wall. The next task is to take the mounting bracket so that you can mark the general area where it should go. Also accurately mark the location of where the wall screws will go.
Next you should lay a soft cloth onto the floor and place your LCD TV onto it with the reverse side facing up.It is sensible to connect the cables to your TV whilst it is on the floor as the rear can be very awkward to access once it has been mounted onto the wall. Secure the mounting bars to the TV using the threaded holes on the TV and appropriately sized bolts. Don't overtighten these bolts but do make sure that they are secure. Once this has been done you can mount the TV onto the wall bracket and it should be safe and secure. To be on the safe side you should get someone to help you with the lifting as these TVs can be quite heavy.
