Hello i am most likely planning on buying the optoma hd65. I just thought about it though, and realized i have a very low ceiling, about 81 inches(6 ft 9 inches) If i have a mount that will bring the optoma hd65 4 inches down from the ceiling, is that going to be to low? Am i going to need to buy an LCD projector.(not really sure on the difference but read somewhere that you have more control of placement with the LCD rather then DLP)
Thanks
i dont mind if my screen is very high up because it is covering a window anyway
If the optoma hd65 is not going to work out, what lcd projectors do you recommend for a similar price range?
This video shows you how to install the projector plate part of this custom projector mount onto an HD65 Projector. The instructions that come with the projector mount don't really explain the proper way to mount the projector plate due to the long screws and multiple nylon washers required.
i have a optoma hd 65 projector an can not find a ceiling or wall mount that fits this projector.
My basement is being finished with a drop ceiling, and I am putting a small home theater in it. I bought an Optoma HD65 projector to mount on the drop ceiling...but how do I do it?! Can I use any universal projector ceiling mount or is there a special type I need to buy? What is the installation process?
Thanks for your help.
I am interested in buying an Optoma HD720X projector but i have a few questions
1. Is it Widescreen?
2. What sort of connections does it have e.g. HDMI, Component AV?
3. Does it have HDMI?
4. Can it display 1080i/p
5. How bright is it?
6. how would i connect it to my PS3 and Laptop (The laptop has DVI and S-video)
7. Can i mount it on my ceiling
8. Does it have a headphone (3.5mm) jack. If it doesnt how would I connect it to my speakers
Any answers to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated
by the way since it doesnt have a 3.5mm jack does anybody know an optical to 3.5mm adaptor so i can connect the speakers directly to my PS3
if there is an adaptor so i could connect the speakers directly to the projector and by the way the HD720X does exist but it is a downgraded version of the HD70
