I have a roll-up projector screen that you pull down and it is supposed to go up. It is mounted to the ceiling and pulls down, anyways I was playing a video game and got mad and I threw a pillow at it (don't ask) well it rolled all the way up very fast, since then it will only go up part of the way it is impossible to get it to go up all the way. Is there anyway to fix this, my guess is there is something broken but I have no idea what it is. Thanks in advance for the answers. I am also open to redneck/jimmy rigged ideas.
what do you mean by "I wander what kind of a game you are playing"?
oh it was mario party 8 and the wii mote would not read the sensor bar and I lost the game so I threw the pillow at it haha. I didn't think anything would happen.

Can my Wii output via composite cable to my Onkyo receiver then from the receiver output HDMI to my projector?
The projector is mounted on the ceiling so I rather not run a composite cable from the Wii to the projector, but there is already an HDMI cable from the receiver to the projector.

I picked up a Viewsonic PJ506D projector with a free 80" screen and ceiling mount. I live in an apartment and don't want the landlord freaking out when they walk in and see a projector hanging from the ceiling.
Seeing as I no longer need or want an "entertainment center", I got this idea about how to mount it. Buy a end table sized "entertain center" to store my Dvd, Wii and HTPC in. Attached a stained to match 1x4 to the "entertainment center. with a shelf hanging out on top of the 1x4 near the ceiling. the then mount the projector on the underside of the raised "platform as if it were the ceiling. I could then duct the wired back down and into the base. I would then put in between two of the viewing chairs as a end table.
Has anyone else ever seen someone do this. I would feel more confident modding an endtable if I have seen pics of someone else doing it.
think it will work?

I would like to buy a dlp projector and am worried about all the cables I will have to manage going into the projector. I have a dvd player, playstation, wii, and cable box. Any suggestions on how to route/hide these from my entertainment unit to the projector? My projector will be ceiling mounted about 20 feet from the screen.
Also, does this exist? A "hub" that I can plug all my components into that sends a signal to the projector? That way I can put the hub with all of my components and NOT plug them all into the projector itself?
Thanks for your help!

We have a home theater in our basement. We would like to have the ability to hook up our DVD player and Wii (or other console) via component cables in one location on the wall near the surround sound system. What is the best way to do this?
I have been looking at component wall plates and component cables. I would like to be able to leave both connected and switch between them. Also, would like for the connection to look nice in the wall while being as cheap as possible.
Thank you!
